Industrial Engineer Manager - Quality Assurance

Penn Wood Products Inc., a producer of home construction wood products, seeks Industrial Engineer Manager to fill Quality Assurance position. Candidate will be responsible for customer quality issues, including: Designing production processes to address and improve production quality issues, investigates cause of quality issues, design and implement permanent corrective actions. Responsible for quality system maintenance and continuous improvement by applying process control methods identifying critical control points at each step of the process validating and controlling standard operating procedures. Will create and implement inspection criteria and procedures for the Quality Facilitators to use daily. Establish standardized audit procedure to include inspection of purchased material to assure product meets quality specifications when used in the manufacturing process.

Requires a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering and five years prior experience as Industrial Engineer, including two years prior experience in a Quality Assurance ISO 9000 environment, and one year with Customer corrective and preventive actions processes, as well as Quality Planning and Testing, Statistical process control and Lean Manufacturing. Engineering experience should include two years experience working with Excel, AutoCAD and Material's Requirement Planning (MRP) system. Multiple positions available
